Welcome to 2024! I hope everyone had a great holiday season! This is our first Saskatooning Blog of 2024. We are excited to continue sharing our monthly #Saskatooning blog posts so you always know what is happening in YXE!

Entertainment
The Book of Mormon is playing at TCU Place on January 1 & 2. Be sure to check out their website for last-minute tickets. Also happening at TCU Place this month is the SSO: Disney’s The Lion King, playing on January 27, perfect for the whole family!
Sports
The Saskatoon Blades are back with a full home game schedule this month. With six games at home, get out and cheer on the Blades. Check out their full schedule here. The Saskatchewan Rush also has a home game at SaskTel Centre on January 20; join them for Retro Night! The game starts at 7:00.
Wellness
The holiday season is always so busy; it’s time to slow down and take some time for yourself. Back 2Nature Wellness and Events has many events, from Breathwork Meditation Sauna, New Moon Dance & Sauna and more! Be sure to book something and unwind from the holidays!
Cameco Meewasin Skating Rink
The Cameco Meewasin’s Outdoor Skating Rink is open for the season! Located along the Meewasin Valley Trail, beside the stunning Delta Bessbourgh Hotel, it is a yearly bucket list activity! They are open for public skating on Wednesday-Sunday 12:00pm-8:00pm. Don’t forget to check out their Sip & Skate night on Jan. 13th & 27th.

Bailie Knowles
Bailie grew up in a small town but was always a "city girl" at heart. Saskatoon is home to her and her family. Her household is full of love and chaos with her husband, four (wild) & wonderful children, and their beloved furry companion. Bailie works as a Marketing & Communications Coordinator with Discover Saskatoon. She loves getting out into the community with her family and taking in all of Saskatoon's events and attractions. Her family loves discovering new parks, trying new restaurants and breweries, hitting up all the events, and attending sporting events like the Saskatchewan Rattlers & Huskies.
