Saskatooning this November
November is here, and Saskatoon is starting to feel a little more festive! The days may be getting shorter and the weather a little chillier, but there’s still lots to get out and enjoy around the city. From live performances and cultural events to Christmas markets and the start of holiday celebrations, here are some fun things to do in Saskatoon this November.
United on Stage
Start November with an evening of Ukrainian dance! United on Stage takes over Lakeview Church Theatre on November 7, bringing Saskatoon’s Yevshan Ukrainian Folk Ballet Ensemble and Winnipeg’s Rusalka Ukrainian Dance Ensemble together on one stage. The 90-minute show blends traditional and contemporary choreography, before the two ensembles join forces for the Hopak to finish the evening.

Picasso Symphony
Make a day of it! Start at Remai Modern to explore its Picasso collection, then head to TCU Place on November 7 for Picasso Symphony. The Saskatoon Symphony Orchestra brings Picasso’s artistic periods to life through live orchestral music and footage of the artist at work, featuring music by Stravinsky, de Falla, Villa-Lobos, Britten, Satie and more.
THIRD+BIRD Saskatoon Christmas Market
Is it too early to start holiday shopping? We don’t think so! The THIRD+BIRD Saskatoon Christmas Market is back at Wilson’s Lifestyle Centre on November 7 and 8, with more than 60 Canadian makers to browse. Shop art, clothing, jewellery, home goods, food, drinks and plenty of other finds while checking a few names off your holiday shopping list.
Remembrance Day Events
On November 8, take time to honour and remember Indigenous Veterans at Fireside with Lyndon: National Indigenous Veterans Day at Remai Modern. Beginning at 2:00 p.m., the gathering includes an Indigenous Remembrance Day Service with Indigenous Veterans, a Veterans Grand Entry, Honour Song, Flag Song, Victory Song, a Moment of Honour and Salute, and an audience conversation. Bannock, tea and coffee will also be provided, with admission by donation.
Continue learning about Canada’s military history on November 11 at Remembrance Day at the Museum. The Saskatoon Museum of Military Artifacts will be open from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., giving visitors a chance to explore military artifacts, try on uniforms and equipment, and take part in hands-on activities. The event is open to all ages and admission is free, with donations accepted.
More Christmas Markets in Saskatoon
Still have some holiday shopping to do? You’ll have lots of chances to shop local this November.
MRKT – The Holiday Edit YXE comes to Wilson’s Lifestyle Centre for two weekends, November 14–15 and November 21–22, with a different mix of vendors each weekend.
Also happening November 14 and 15, Candy Cane Lane Market brings another holiday market to Prairieland Park.
Then, Gather Local Christmas Market 2026 closes out the month from November 27–29 at Gather Local Market, with local gifts, handmade crafts and food from Saskatoon makers and vendors. Admission is free, so it’s an easy stop to work into a weekend downtown.

Holiday Parties
Ready for some Christmas music? Matt Dusk: A Very Sinatra Christmas comes to the Broadway Theatre on November 26. The platinum-selling, five-time JUNO Award nominee will be joined by a big band for an evening of holiday favourites inspired by Frank Sinatra. It sounds like a pretty good way to kick off the Christmas season!
Holiday party season is officially starting! Holiday Dinner Party at TCU Place has November dates on November 27 and 28, with another event on December 4. Gather your coworkers, friends or family for dinner followed by live entertainment, games, prizes, Music Bingo and dancing. It could be a fun option if you want the holiday party experience without having to plan the whole thing yourself.
