Yard & Flagon
Broadway is one of the most popular streets in Saskatoon, but have you ever seen it from this point of view? The rooftop patio of The Yard provides a little oasis, and a chance to get a new perspective and people-watch on the most stylish street! We tried a classic pub burger and the dried cranberry & smoked gouda salad, but they have plenty of classics and elevated pub food! As well as a selection of draft beers and Irish and Scotch Whiskies.

Better Brother
This City Park taproom has something for everyone! Literally, everyone! It's a family-friendly environment, with anyone under 19 allowed when accompanied by a legal guardian. They offer a selection of games, colouring activities, toys, and food and drink options (including a craft root beer brewed in-house) so everyone can find something to enjoy!
The taproom includes a window to the microbrewery, where they brew craft beer on site using local ingredients. There are always unique and interesting flavours to try!
We can't talk about Better Brother without mentioning their Hot Dog of the Week specials! Past flavours include: Pulled Pork BBQ Dog, Hot Dog of the Sea (a California roll inspired creation), The PB&J Dog, Poutine Dog, and many more creative combinations!

The Night Oven
Don't let the name fool you - The Night Oven Bakery DOES have amazing pastries, but they also have SO much more! Tucked into a quiet Caswell Hill neighbourhood, they're known for their handcrafted sourdough breads and French-inspired pastries, made using organic Saskatchewan grains that are milled on-site, and baked in a wood-fired brick oven. But did you know they also serve food and drinks? Their pizza and small plates menu runs Thursday through Sunday.
They also serve a selection of lemonade, tea, coffee, and alcoholic beverages!
Fable Ice Cream
What's better than coffee and ice cream? Well, ice cream made using organic milk and cane sugar, and as many local ingredients as possible! Fable Ice Cream is serving up delicious and unique flavours (have you ever tried spruce tip flavoured ice cream?!) in crispy waffle cones, as well as affogato, espresso milkshakes, and a full lineup of espresso drinks and specialty lattes!

Odla
This Broadway restaurant takes souring locally seriously. They skip lemons and limes because they don't grow in Saskatchewan. Instead, they create in-house vinegars, fermenting ingredients like beets, celery, and seabuckthorn to add acidity to their dishes. Their ingredients are sourced from over 50 local producers. They stay true to their name - Odla - which is a Swedish word, meaning to farm, cultivate, or grow. Anything you order will be farm fresh and full of wonderful flavours.
And not to mention it's a beautiful location, inside and out! The patio is spacious and has the cutest pink umbrellas and golden sunlight shining on the brick exterior!
Out of Order Coffee/Shelter Brewing
This one is for the matcha lovers. Out of Order Coffee serves up specialty coffee and matcha (including flavours like carrot cake latte and strawberry ginger matcha) and small batch pastries!
In the evening, the space transitions to Shelter Brewing. They share the same space and patio, conveniently located downtown! Shelter brews their own lineup of craft beers. For example, their Saison, described as "Notes of fruity lemon, spice, and earthiness are rounded out by soft malt character. Finishes dry and crisp." Doesn't that make you want to try it?! And don’t forget to bring your appetite — Dylan & Cam’s taqueria, located just inside the brewery, serves some of the city’s best tacos, burritos, and shareable plates.
If you care about aesthetics, you need to check out this space. The beautiful, minimal, wooden design of the interior, paired with trendy merch from both Out of Order and Shelter, this is a cool spot to stop by anytime of day.
Paradox Pizza
Known for its Detroit-style pizza, Paradox serves thick-crust pies alongside craft beer in the heart of Broadway. What is Detriot-style pizza? It's baked in a rectangular pan, with a thick, airy crust, reminiscent of focaccia bread. The cheese goes all the way to the edges of the pan, forming a crunchy cheesey crust. Paradox also offers a gluten free crust option! And you have to try their hot honey drizzled on top.
They have rotating flavours of a slice of the day or sandwich options if you're stopping by for a quick lunch, or enjoy an evening on their dog friendly patio and share a pizza, appies, craft beer or philosophy-themed cocktails!
Stumbletown Distilling
Located in the North end of the city, Stumbletown is tucked away in quiet area, a perfect destination to take a bike ride and enjoy a few drinks on the patio! Their craft distillery has been in operation for 10 years, since 2016, and the passion continues! Their spirits can be found in liquor stores as well, with items including Pink IPA Gin, Caesar Gin, and canned gin cocktails. Visit their taproom to sample a cocktail flight made using their distilled on-site spirits!
They also operate a brewery out of the same space, City Limits Brewing. Their Flipside Hazy IPA has won New Beer of the Year at the Canadian Brewers Choice Awards.
Bokeh on the Plaza
Arguably one of the most high-class patio experiences in the city, located through the Alt Hotel in River Landing's new courtyard, the K.W. Nasser Plaza, complete with a fountain and a river view. Bokeh on the Plaza is a stylish lounge and craft cocktail bar, paired with charcuterie and grazing boards. They often host live music sessions and DJ nights!
