Ivana Kupala Celebration

Event July 5th, 2025
Time 1pm - 5pm

Join us for a joyful midsummer celebration of Ivana Kupala — a beloved Ukrainian holiday rooted in ancient rituals of nature, water, and fire. The afternoon begins at 1pm with a talk inside the Museum exploring the time-honoured traditions behind Ivana Kupala.

Then head outdoors for vinok-making on the patio from 2 to 5pm, or enjoy live music indoors while you take in the festive atmosphere. Create your own traditional flower crown (vinok) for $10, guided by our instructors and surrounded by the beauty of summer blooms.

Admission is free or by donation. All are welcome!
