Métis Market

Located on the first floor in the atrium, this vibrant market showcases local artisans offering handmade items and original artworks. Live performances and workshops will be presented from 11 AM -2 PM as you browse unique, one-of-a-kind creations and thoughtful gifts while supporting local artisans and makers.

vent Schedule:
11 AM: Davika Ironbow will perform a Jingle Dress Dance, followed by a presentation on the history and significance of the dance.

12 PM: Everyone is welcome to join Lady Métis (LaLayne Martel) through active education as she presents information on the history, culture, and facts about the Métis Sash & how they are made, including the opportunity to try fingerweaving-a traditional Métis sash weaving technique!

2 PM: Davika Ironbow will perform Fancy Shawl, followed by a presentation on the history and significance of the dance.
