Wanuskewin

Wanuskewin is a National Heritage site which celebrates Metis and Plains First Nations Cultures. Today we celebrate over 6000 years of history on this land, through programs, exhibits, art, cuisine, plus over 6 km of hiking trails.

Upon entering Wanuskewin's Interpretive Centre, the Gift Shop immediately draws your attention. You have found a treasure trove featuring First Nations artists and artisans - beaded earrings, moccasins, sculptures, apparel, pottery, artwork, crafts and more!

The Interpretive Centre also features a truly unique restaurant. Our menu offers traditional elements such as bison, bannock, plus rich and hearty soups and stews. A taste of yesterday served in a contemporary manner, which includes gluten-free and sugar-free dishes.
