Wheatland Express - Train Excursion

At this time, our excursions primarily operate between Cudworth and Wakaw at the leisurely pace of 10 to 15 miles per hour for a 2.5 to 3-hour round-trip journey.

Arrive early to experience Little Big Town, our western town front. Meet and interact with the characters and wet your whistle.

Waiting on each railcar is one of our famously friendly excursion guides who will host and help treat you to memorable and meaningful experiences aboard the Wheatland Express.

During the trip, you’ll experience one of the most significant modes of travel and pieces of Canada’s history. Along the way, a cast of delightful characters and musicians will entertain you, and there is plenty of time to roam the length of the train, taking in our unique set of railcars.
