Summertime is upon us, which means longer days, warm nights, barbecues, and most important of all, baseball. We're celebrating America's favorite pastime the best way possible, with director David Mickey Evans' love letter to the game, THE SANDLOT.

Smalls is a new kid in the neighborhood, and while looking for a place to fit in, he hooks up with the local sandlot baseball team, who are themselves looking for a ninth player. The only problem is, Smalls doesn't know how to play ball. What follows is a heartwarming and hilarious coming-of-age story featuring a terrifying neighborhood monstrosity known as "The Beast," irresponsible treatment of priceless memorabilia, and of course, the valuable life lesson that things on the surface are not always as they seem.
