Repair Cafe: Get your stuff fixed for free!
With the help of volunteers that will be offering their knowledge and skills, Repair Cafés encourage us to consider repairing items rather than throwing them away. The Repair Cafe is completely free to use, however as a non-profit organization, we rely on the donations and support of our community to continue to provide our space free of barriers. If you are able to, we would greatly appreciate anything you can give! Donations are available via ticket booking below, or in person on the day of the event.
This March, Saskatoon Makerspace will be hosting Repair Cafe, presented by Affinity Credit Union, Saskatchewan Waste Reduction Council, and The Library of Things
Date: March 17th, 2024
Time: 10am - 2pm
Location: Saskatoon Makerspace - 209 Avenue D South
Our volunteers will offer advice on, and repair the following categories:
Sewing
Electronics/Appliances
Small engine
Woodworking
Metal working
Computers
Bikes
IN-PERSON. Walk-ins will be welcome but we strongly encourage booking an appointment as we would like to spread out the visitors and limit the number of people in the building at one time. Appointments will be prioritized over walk-ins, so book ahead to avoid waiting!
