National Indigenous Peoples Day & Treaty 6 150th Commemoration

The Office of the Treaty Commissioner and Parks Canada invite you to join us for an afternoon of culture, community, and connection to honour National Indigenous Peoples Day and commemorate the 150th anniversary of Treaty 6.
Following the ceremony there will be a complimentary hot dog lunch while quantities last.
Two Indigenous presenters in traditional regalia speak to a group of visitors.
11:00 AM - Grand Entry, Elder’s Prayer, & Opening Ceremony
Activities include:
- Cultural performances and entertainment
- Activities for kids and teens
- Storytelling and Treaty 6 teachings
- Outdoor market – art, crafts, food, and more!
