Lii Buflo: A Métis Way of Life

Event February 17th - May 31th, 2026

Lii Buflo: A Métis Way of Life is a travelling exhibit developed by Elk Island National Park, the Arts and Heritage Foundation of St. Albert, and a Métis advisory committee. It explores the historic and continuing relationships and cultural ties between the Métis people and the buffalo. The exhibit is comprised of 10 panels and uplifts Métis voices and stories through a blend of storytelling, educational information, and original artworks by Métis artist Jesse Gouchey.

You can see Lii Buflo: A Métis Way of Life at the WDM Saskatoon starting February 17th, 2026 through May 31th, 2026. The exhibit is included in regular museum admission.
