The Cabin in the Woods - The Art of Terror 2026

The Cabin in the Woods / 2011/ USA/ Dir: Drew Godard/ 95 min/ Current Rotten Tomatoes Score: 92%

When five college friends arrive at a remote forest cabin for a little vacation, little do they expect the evils that await them. One by one, the youths fall victim to a series of contrived horrors that seem all too likely to have been plucked from some kind of a B-horror movie to be as simple-minded as they seem. Meanwhile, a bustling, hi-tech lab full of shady scientists and sardonic bean-counters meander from a safe distance, lovelessly weighing in on the mayhem. As the shared stakes between these two seemingly disparate spaces coalesce, the consequences skew cataclysmic.
