Downtown Talks - Understanding Downtown Saskatoon
Join "Downtown Talks: Conversations for a Stronger Community" for our first hosted conversation on "Understanding Downtown Saskatoon."
Our panelists include Saskatoon historian Terry Hoknes, Sarah Marchildon from the Downtown Saskatoon Business Improvement District, David Clare and Roger Yenkins from the Salvation Army, and a representative from the Frances Morrison Central Library.
There will be opportunities to learn, ask questions, express ideas, and enjoy food, drinks, and good conversation.
We really hope you’ll join us on Thursday, October 24th at 7pm in St. Andrew’s Lower Hall for our first Downtown Talks panel on Understanding!
If you have any questions, please email [email protected].
---
“Downtown Talks” will be a series of moderated, panel-style conversations focusing on one of our four threads: Understanding, Celebrating, Protecting, and Resourcing.
Each session in the series will be about 90 mins…with the option to go a little bit longer if the conversation is just too good to end!
We’re inviting panel speakers with specialized experience in downtown Saskatoon to share what they have learned. After our panel speakers, we’ll open up the dialogue for questions and discussion.
We want to give as many people as possible the opportunity to participate. Over coffee and snacks, we’ll listen together, learn together, and talk about creative ways to build a stronger and stronger sense of community in downtown Saskatoon.
