Beading Workshop with Kristan Belcourt

Honour MMIWG2+

Join Indigenous artist Kristan Belcourt, owner of Strawberry Moon Artistry, to honour Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls & Two-Spirit People (MMIWG2S+) by learning to bead a red dress pin.

Kristan will guide you through the beading process while sharing beadwork skills, the history of beadwork and the importance of raising awareness for MMIWG2S+.

All participants must have basic skills such as threading and holding a needle, fine motor skills and the patience to work on a project for several hours. As this program runs for nearly six hours, please bring snacks and drinks.
