Ag-West Bio is an economic development agency dedicated to growing innovative agriculture and food bio-businesses in Saskatchewan.
We provide funding, support and connections to businesses in the agrifood and bioscience industry, with the goal of commercializing innovative research.
We fill gaps in the sector by making patient investments and starting initiatives where there is a need. We have played a founding role in the creation of Protein Industries Canada, the Global Institute for Food Security, and Natural Products Canada, to name a few. Our current initiatives include the Global Agri-food Advancement Partnership, the Prairie Food Link, and the Diverse Field Crops Cluster.
