Maestra Tania Miller is a force of nature on the podium. As a podium partner of the SSO, we’ve been lucky to enjoy the special relationship she has with the musicians and the energy, passion, and verve she brings to each and every moment of music.

Avery Guo, winner of the 2024 Saskatchewan Concerto Competition, makes her SSO debut in Franz Liszt’s first Piano Concerto. This is music that is virtuosic, powerful, and designed to blow the audience away – a great fit for this young Saskatoon pianist!

Tania Miller then leads the SSO in Beethoven’s iconic 7th Symphony. One of the most thrilling and profound pieces of music ever written, the 7th stands the test of time; one of the great moments of human expression and connection, the music is the embodiment of joy, innovation, and rhythmic energy.
