The Prairie Grindstone Prize Award Ceremony: Celebrating Marina Endicott

Marina Endicott's six novels have been short-listed for the Giller Prize, the Governor General’s award and CBC’s Canada Reads; Good to a Fault won the Commonwealth Writers Prize for Best Book, Canada/Caribbean. Her latest, The Observer, won the City of Saskatoon Fiction Prize and was Saskatchewan’s Book of the Year. She lives in Saskatoon.

ABOUT THE PRIZE
The Prairie Grindstone Prize recognizes prairie writers of fiction, poetry, or creative nonfiction with a cash prize of $50,000 that will enable the writer to focus on their work for a year or more. This annual prize, funded by an anonymous donor committee, alternates between the provinces of Alberta and Saskatchewan.
