This includes yarn that is hand dyed by independent dyers, raw fleeces fresh off the sheep, wool products to project bags, handmade clothing and all the supplies and tools you will need for your fibre crafts. We attract vendors from across Western Canada.
The Silver Willow Fibre Festival’s core goal is to nurture the local fibre community and promote awareness of our local sheep, alpaca and other natural fibres in Saskatchewan. We strive to offer an inclusive safe space for creative people to share their love, excitement and creativity with others of liked mind. The art of working with fibre, from knitting to weaving, is known to decrease stress and anxiety and helps to improve overall wellbeing.
We offer competitions every year. These competitions are created to help engage people and give participants a change to get feedback from expert judges. We also offer workshops where fibre people can learn new skills and build on excising ones.
The Silver Willow Fibre Festival is a space to connect with others, grow together and share inspiration.
