Newcomer Program Wrap-Up: Saskatoon

Join program participants, community members, ecosystem partners, and WESK members for an afternoon of networking and learning, facilitated by Alanna Knobben.

About the workshop :
Envision is an engaging, creative vision-board experience designed to help participants step back from the day-to-day and consider what they want their next chapter to look and feel like, personally, professionally and as entrepreneurs. For women who are new to Canada and have been in business for five years or less, this experience offers an especially valuable opportunity to work beyond language barriers.

Through images, colour, symbols and guided reflection, participants can express ideas and aspirations that can sometimes be difficult to articulate through words alone. The workshop also creates an opportunity to connect the dots between the knowledge, relationships, resources and support participants have already received through WESK and where they want to go next.

Participants will:
Reflect on what matters most in their lives, careers and businesses
Identify aspirations, strengths and possibilities for the future
Explore the relationship between personal and professional goals
Connect previous learning and resources to future aspirations
Create a visual representation of their desired next chapter
Leave with greater clarity, inspiration and a tangible reminder of what they are working toward
