Glitter & Glam: A Prom of Possibilities
Join us for a dazzling evening of self-expression, storytelling, and celebration! Hosted by legendary drag icons China White and Iona Whipp, this glam prom-night reimagines tradition with authenticity and joy.
The night kicks off with Indigenous Two Spirit speaker Donald Meriam, who will share how fashion can reflect identity and transformation—featuring pieces from their own wardrobe. Visuals from the Neil Richards Collection of Sexual and Gender Diversity at the University of Saskatchewan Archives and Special Collections will set the stage, highlighting the powerful history of dress, gender, and performance in a stunning display.
Come dressed in what makes you feel fabulous and strut your stuff on our ballroom-style runway! Capture the moment at the Gay Bob photobooth, explore the collection through buttons and resources, and dance the night away with a live DJ. Light refreshments provided.
Whether you're reliving prom as your true self or celebrating queer history in style, this is your night to shine.
